I’ve lived in many different cities, in many different countries, and I’ve always made sure that my home is cosy, airy and inviting – a place where I can retreat and exist peacefully and serenely.

My hope is that my artworks will contribute this same feeling, and one of lightness and joy in the new owner’s home.

I’m not the most patient person, however when I’m designing my artworks, I transcend to a place of contentment, where I’m focused only on the precision of my blade cutting out my shapes and the attention to the detail of each component. I love working with paper as it allows me to be absolutely precise with my incisions, and as my intent is to create movement not only in the subject matter, but also within the medium, paper lends itself wonderfully to manipulation so that the birds or the butterflies literally take flight.

Oh and why Natsula Designs? To close friends and family I’ve always been Nat and Sula is my beloved dog’s name.
